Hi
I have tested using MEX type 1 together with calling card in GSM phones. As calling card requires security code input as well as the called number it does not seem to function smoothly. (there is no manual input for the security, it is all in the NUTRI)
Ordinary DISA works OK as I here programme the security code as the *72*authcode# and this is executed first.

My question is , since the DISA is OK will then the MEX type 2 work as you have more or less the same security code as in DISA ?

Thanks !
Lars

MEX Type1 works very well. The securitycode in GSM-Phone has nothing to do with MD110. In my phone it was "0000" (4xZero). You need it only one time for preparing and activating the calling card function.

Perhaps I was a bit unclear regarding what I meant about security code. Yes , you are right there is code default 0000 to activating the calling card.
But in my phone , T65 by Ericsson , in the calling card configuration in addition to setting up the R1/DISA/R2 number you must setup a security code and decide what to send first (the R1/DISA/R2 or security code ).
I choose security code as the first one. For DISA as mentioned before I specified the *72*.... sequence .
What should I use for the R1 MEX ?

\\Lars

You don´t need a securitycode for r1. So choose R1 sending first. Securitycode is then without entry. But my GSM-Display then asks me to send the securitycode (typically calling-card function). I then press "no".
