Hi, I want to make some text with a metallic look like the logo text for Looks like they used some beveling and marbling, but so far I can't come very close to it. Can anyone tell me how to get this appearance with Fireworks? Thanks, AMc Should I stay or should I go? Thanks & Goodbye, Joe.

this is more of a job for photoshop and one of its many simple plugins. In fireworks you could make your text and give it a linear gradient then you could copy the text and shrink it down about 5-10% and give it the same gradient but opposite. then on the bigger text just blur it about 3-4 and that should moehow then blend into the upper text. Then you would have to apply a layer mask to the upper text to give it the shiny effect. EHHH really for more complicated effects you should use photoshop. [Hammer]
