Thank you CitrixEnginner and JohnTCallo, I trust your replies; appreciate the speedy answers. I have a hard time believing any software supplier, I been in the consulting line a long time.

Quick question

Presently my client has a Dell 4400 at 1Ghz, raid 5, 15k drives, 50 gig array with 2 Gig ram for his LAN (WK2 Advanced); Runs LAN programs surprisingly fast.
I was thinking I would create another server for the LAN and recycle this server for Metaframe. Is this enough horesepower for remote access only, for 10 users, 2 of the 10 power users, remaining 8 users intermittant "sales" data entry into Great Plains Dynamics (SQL). The other senario, a new server for Metaframe. Much rather upgrade the LAN server.

Thanks again

Paul,

This machine is more than sufficient for the number of users you have. I think you could get by with a less powerful machine for your LAN use after you convert this one to be your Metaframe server.

Good luck.
