I'm trying to install MetaFrame 1.8 on WTS 4.0 using the Unattend.txt file that comes with CD.

Here is the command I run
SETUP.exe /u:C:\sys\Unattend.txt

Here is what's in the Unattend.txt
==========Unatttend.txt
[MetaFrame License Agreement]
AcceptLicense=No

[License Serial Numbers]
EUC-00F4-9956-B3FF-702843=

[ICA Network Protocols]
TCP=Yes
IPX=No
NETBIOS=No

[Drive Reassignment]
ReassignDriveLetters=No
NewDriveLetter=M

[Options]
RebootOnFinish=Yes
=======================end file===
Basically, IT'S NOT WORKING!!
I run the command and it's as if I just ran the Setup.exe on it's own.

Anyone have any Idea what I'm doing wrong? Dave Namou, MCSE CCEA

===ANGRY SIDE===
I have NEVER BEEN SO FRUSTRAITED IN MY LIFE...

This Unattended is really %@#$%ing pissing me off.

I have tried the script in multiple environments.
-From a CD
-From a network share
-With SP3 only
-With SP6 Only
-With SP6 and Q269214i

It's hit and miss. A few times it has worked and MOST of the other times it has NOT worked.
WHAT IS GOING ON????????

===CONTENT SIDE===
I finally found a workaround. There is an ICA.EXe file in the same directory as the Setup.EXE file. This file ALWAYS works when I run it with the /u switch for the unattended install.
The only problem (That I’m aware of) is that it does not reboot after the install. No big deal, I just use the Shutdown command to reboot.
But this file has me somewhat nervous as if it’s not doing everything that Setup.exe is doing.

But what can I do? Setup.exe is not working, but the ICA.exe appears to be working.
- MetaFrame is installed
- Licenses are installed
- And the Drives are remapped

This is going Production in two weeks so I'll keep this post updated if anything goes wrong.
