When SP3 for Microsoft W2k was realease last year I applied it to my server. This caused problems with the launching of published applications.

I was wondering if anybody knows if there has been a hotfix released by Citrix too allow the application on SP3 for W2k

What issues were you seeing?
We are running W2K SP3 with MF 1.8 and we have not had any issues with publish applications.

There has been a lot of hotfixes and sp's for Microsoft and Citrix. Actually SP4 for MF1.8 is out so you might want to give that a shot on a test server.

When MS released SP3 Citrix recommended not applying it servers runnin g Meta 1.8 for 2000 SP3 bacuase if problems it caused.
The main issue was applications not launching correctly.

I just have not seen anything to the contrary released.
How long have you had MS W2k SP3 and Meta 1.8 SP3 running.

We've been running on it for about 3 mths now. The only major issue we are seeing with the OS side of things is that we keep losing servers to STOP 0x7f blue-screen.

This is a known issue with Win2k Sp2 and Sp3 but there is a hotfix that Microsoft recommmends installing. Obviously it works half of the time because we are still losing servers

=(

I also downloaded service pack 4 for MF 1.8 yesterday.
I looked at some of the fixes and I noticed that they had a bunch of our stop codes that we have been seeing.
Example: 7f, 1e and stop 50.

We've already installed it on all of our servers because that is the majority of fatal system codes that we see.
Hopefully it will improve on our uptime...maybe...
