Hello,

This is just a quick question just to verify what I'm about to try!

I have an E450R which has two internal disks which I'm going to mirror using disk suite. On the root disk (c0t0d0) I will create the State Database Replica using the following syntax:-

metadb -a -f -c 3 c0t0d0s4

If I want to mirror the root disk to c0t1d0, I also need to create State Database Replicas on this disk also?

From what I gather if I do not create these on the root mirror and say the root disk fails I will not be able to boot from the root mirror?

Yes, you should always have the drives setup the same way if you are going to mirror.

metadb -a -f -c 3 c0t0d0s4 c0t1d0s4

I have been doing the following:-

metadb -a -f -c 3 c0t0d0s4

metadb -a -c 3 c0t1d0s4

Same as your way but takes twice as long!
