Hi, I need to have a code that will copy the Document Identifier under the Meta tab of Document Properties so that I can paste into another application.

Right Now, it's a manual process of right clicking on the document, choosing document properties, click on the Meta Tab <+> and copy the identifier.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I have tried @Text(@documentuniqueid), but it pastes the contents of the document.

Thanks.

You can use the EditCopy command, or - probably more useful - the Copy method of the NotesUIDocument.
Call the method on the UNID of the document and you have it stored in the Clipboard, ready to paste.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.
