Hello all, I have a Mandrake 8.2 system and added 4 - 120GB ide drives. I wanted to use RAID 0 to span or stripe them. I used the control center to create the partitions using "Linux Native" as the type. So I have hde, hdf, hdg, hdh devices. I created the raidtab file in /etc, added /dev/md0 to the fstab, ran the mkraid dev/md0 and ran the mkreiserfs on /dev/md0. Then did the mount /dev/md0 and it mounts. I can copy, create, etc. When I reboot the mount is gone or I should say does not auto mount even with the fstab file.
When trying to mount those drives I get an error that it's the wrong type or too many file systems mounted. If I delete the partitions, re-create each step I can mount it just fine, then re-boot and it's all gone.
Where am I missing the boat?
Thanks all.
