Hi,
When I try to view my Meta Data underneath Data Transformation Services I get the following message.... Some software (ActiveX controls) on this page might be unsafe. It is recommended that you not run it. Do you want to allow it to run? When i click on No i get a runtime error
line: 507
Error: Object required
Does anyone know what this error means? Is this an error in my ActiveX script in one of my DTS packages? or something else
Thank you JF

Hi,

I am getting the same error - additionally, Enterprise Manager freezes and I have to shut it down through Task Manager. If you solve the problem, please could you let me know as well? I have installed service pack 3 and this does not seem to fix it.

Regards
Filia

Hi perfectchaoss, it's me again....

Just to let you know that I have just upgraded to IE6 and have also installed the Security patch for it. I am no longer getting the Object Required error, neither is my machine hanging.

Regards
Filia
