Hi folks ... any help here is appreciated. I just finished a messy Windows XP/IIS/CF7 reinstall and I've run into a load problem for cfm files. The bearings on my old hard drive burned out and when it died it took everything with it.
Here's what I've got: WinXP Media Edition, IIS6, CF7 and DW2004MX on my home box ... it is not a production server. I need to run IIS to handle outside FTP uploads from clients.
I've since reinstalled WinXP Media Edition and CF7, plus IIS6. I set the directory mappings in CF Admin to "C:\Inetpub\ I'm not sure what the logical path should be.
Everything seems to work OK until I test the page in CF. When I call up a website's homepage -- a htm file -- it loads fine when I use the "Preview in Browser" button in DW. But whenever I try to go to a CFM page elsewhere within the site, I get an "Error Occurred While Processing This Request" message ... and then a "File Not Found" error.
I think I've narrowed it down to an IIS issue. Since HTM pages will load in the browser, but CFM pages will not, I suspect I need to somehow configure IIS to recognize them and allow the browser to load them. I'm not sure how. A few Google searches find IIS5 instructions that point to the IIS MMC, but there's no such icon in my Control Panel/Admin directory.
Again, any help is appreciated.
