Whenever i have a print-job that is complete or ends in an error, i get a Messenger Service giving me information about weither what went wrong or that it ended correctly. How do I disable this?

I ask because on one computer he gives this messenger service message after each page is printed which is quite annoying

thanx

Is this problem at work? If so are you running Novell? If that is so as well then there will be an icon in Control Panel called CSNW (Client Services For Netware)and in there will be an option to switch of printer notification or something like that. Switch it off!!!

If not running CSNW then not sure unless it's set by the print server and out of your control(If at work!)

It is indeed at work, but we don't use novell (still windows-nt 4 Server) . Plus i can't seem to find anything about notification or the messenger service.

If i look at the services of the printer server i find an "Intel message service" that is started. Should i disable this?

problem is solved

i disabled the service messenger on the client computer and he doesnt give those messages any more!!!

thanx for the support
