I just uninstalled Photoshop 4, and installed Photoshop 7. For some odd reason, the JPG files on my desktop show a PSD icon instead of the JPG icon that I selected in Windows folder options. Anyone can help me on this? Thanks!
Yes, however, that only changes the icon of the shortcut to Photoshop7. I want to change the icons for all JPG files to the JPG icon. Currently, all my images files (JPG, GIF, etc...) use the same PSD icon. And it's really annoying to not being able to differentiate the types of image files from looking at the icon.
Can you right mouse click any jpeg file then click "open with" and pick an application (photoshop) and check the "always open this file type with this application.
Spyderix, I have TweakUI for WindowsXP...and I've tried the "repair icons" option. However, that didn't fix the problem either. I believe it has something to do with my registry.
