I have a partner messaging R7, when I add a 6-port card to it, it says it is running in test mode. I am pretty sure that means the port card isn't being recognized. I tried it in both slots with the same results. Do these go bad?

My guess is that the 6 port license is bad as the Avaya Partner Messaging will boot up in test mode if it doesn't see a valid license.

Try another license and see if that fixes the problem.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Oops....(I didn't answer the question) [purpleface]. While it is isn't unheard of for a license to be bad, it can happen. The usual problem with voicemails is failed hard drives.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

I've had 2 go bad before. Both recently, replaced license card and the module has worked fine since.
