Messaging back & restore options

Is there any documentation to be found about how the backup
and or restore option in a MM R4.0 function.
Apparently you can save the data to the PCMIA card,
but when you restore translations from this card...
it does not retain the Station prompts or saved messages...
Inquiring minds want to know why this is so???

If you connect thru the Ethernet port, and use the Admin software, you can do a complete backup.

The stuff you need should be available on the web. If not.....

The pcmcia card only backs up the selector codes, menu options, mailboxes, other configuration settings, etc. It does not backup the prompts at all (or greetings, or messages in mailboxes). I am assuming it would be too large for the pcmcia card and that is why they designed it that way.

Thanks for all the input.
I do know that if I connected to the MM thru the Ethernet port
and using the Admin software, I can do a complete backup...but
you have to be on the premise and do the backup while the system
is quiet....
I just though that the PCMIA backup was more complete.
