Messaging 4.0 transfer ?

I have a MM r4 connected to a Magix R4.
The customer has on selector code 3 to an announcement
They want to be able to transfer back to the main greeting from
this announcement
I know the transfer code is *8...to what??
Am I able to get back to the main greting from this announcement.
Or do I find a work around.

You can assign an extension as the auto-attendant. So say you have adjuct 7300 open. Make 7300 AA1. Then, you can set-up a selector code to transfer to that extension.

*4 repeats the current recording, *# moves back one level. Use a submenu instead of an announcement so that you can define selector codes to go places, and the 0-timeout from the AA will carry through to the menu. Also, announcements disconnect at the end if there is no action by the caller.
