Hi
Emails were being sent out with no problem directly from our server until the other day when they were becoming stuck in the exchange queue (for no apparent reason).
I called our ISP to see if there had been a block put on our internet connection and they reported no blocks or blacklisting.
If I go to "SmallBusiness SMTP Connector", select "Forward all mail through this connector to the following smart hosts" and enter our ISP's SMTP server in the field, then mail is sent OK.
I'd prefer to have mail sent directly from our server becuase I have ensured rDNS entires are correct (etc...) so that our mail does not get filtered as SPAM at the recipients' end.
Does anyone have any ideas? And is there a way to get a detailed log as to what's happening to the emails that make them queue?
Thanks
Kev
