anyone know why some voice mail messages won't show till hours after the are left? Intuity Audix r4

When you say messages,do you mean the MWL is not lighting or the message physically is not there in the m/b until hours later. At first thought, I would think you have an issue with your MWL's. So, verify that last port on your intuity is working, as well, I would change the hunt type if it isn't already done to a linear hunt instead of the default circular hunt. It also wouldn't hurt to do a MWL refresh in Maintance.

A really busy voice mail system could be the culprit, as well as ensuring the hunt group is linear. Also verify that the voice mail ports in the voice mail calling group are correct.

Well, here's what we used to find, user error.

They would Listen to a Message and accidently press #, thus skipping a message, and not "discovering" it until later.

That may or may not be the case, just see if the trouble is confined to just one or 2 users.

That could be a hint.

I checked the times. They were different but now they are within a minute of each system. Will check hunt group and vm ports today.

User error could very well be the culprit. However, The two users that brought it to my attention never had the problem until we switched from one Legend v? to three Magix 3.0s Networked through their 100 DCD cards. Intuity remains same version just moved from 3 digit to 4 digit mailbox numbers.

Is this Audix "THE" Mail for ALL of these networked Systems?

If so, are you saying you went from it being "THE" mail for one system to being for all of them.

How many ports does it have?

It could be an overload condition, and it's just too busy to deliver the MWL on a timely basis.

Yes. the mail server is serving all three switches. it has 4 lines going from the vm to the switch. I've not yet ever noticed all lines busy. (Teachers don't check voice mail much)
