Messages button on 5410

I have a client runn IPO 412 software 3.2. Currently if you press the messages button it routes to a remote audix. I attempted an update to 4.2 software and the messages button when pressed wouldn't work.

on the voicemail tab for udp I have the need number and if i manually dial it reaches audix. i just can't get the messages button to do it.

any ideas

In the Vm tab under the system do you have it set for remote Audix with the right trunk and the audix UDP number?

Yes all is set,

FYI we went back to 3.2 so the buttons would work until I get this figured out. but I Have both config before and after upgrade. appear the same.

Try setting the button for visual voicemail
It is in the voicemail tab in the system.
