is it possible to display a message when the mouse moves on top of a button. I don't want it to be the "msgbox". After the mouse is not ontop of the button the message goes away. I would like it similar to the toolbar option messages that are in Microsoft Office.

thanks

In Access 97 and later, set the tool tips property of the control. When the mouse hovers over the conrtol for a second or so, the text will appear, just like it does on the toolbar.
