Message waiting notification on 3rd party

Hi this is my first post!
I was wondering whether any one had installed a 3rd party sip extension, and managed to configure message waiting via a TVM50. I presume it must be a setting on the TVM as the 3rd party app has no settings to configure.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you have Panasonic phones on the system with message waiting then changing the message lamp on/off codes on the system may stop them working. Have not put any third party sip on a system with VM
