message waiting lights bad?

anybody ever run across problems with bad message waiting lights? out of 14 phones 4 have bad lights - also if the lights are the problem any idea if the independent m/w lights sandman sells will work when bridged to a partner phone???

I dont know what kind of MW light Sandman sells, but the Partner only supports LED (Low Voltage) message waiting, NOT 90v Neon. Check w/Sandman to see what his are.

You can determine if the LED is in fact BAD by doing the SET-SELF-TEST. From phone idle, hold down the "#" key for about 5 seconds, then lift the hookswitch. Phone will ring, all LEDs will light, all LCD segements will go on.
