Message Waiting Light

I am trying to get a red message waiting lamp to light on a single line analog set using a Phone 8 v1 expansion module. I turned on the message waiting light options and it will light up when I have it plugged into an analog port on a Combo card installed in the front of the cabinet 500 v2 but when I plug it into the expansion Phone 8 module and set the same settings it will not light up. Any suggestions? Thank you

Phone 8 V1 does not support all MWI options.


With IP Office 3.1,
the Phone V2 supports a wider range of message waiting indication (MWI)
options than Phone V1 modules.
