Message Waiting Light will not stay lit 1

We have a merlin messaging system with several calling groups. I have the message waiting light indicator on the calling groups set to light the managers phone, wich it does. However, when she gets a vm on her own extension and listens to the message, the mwl goes out, even though there's still a message on the calling group vm.

Now she doesn't know if there are any messages until she checks every calling group, a timely process. Is there a way to keep her light lit for the calling group message after her vm turns it off?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

How is she getting to the voicemail? If she dials in (usually intercom 770 - and checks mail - the message light should stay lit. If she uses the menu option for messages on her phone - it will turn off the light.

The MW light senario with calling groups and personal mailboxes is something that just happens with Merlin Messaging, even when just logging in through 770.

I have done things like making the personal mailbox the phantom destination for the calling group's mailbox, or make an unused General Mailbox the phantom destination for the Calling Group's mailbox, and then make the person with the personal mail also be that general mailbox's owner.
