Message waiting light on mlx10d

Hi,
If the merlin legend system I have doesn't have voicemail, and I have voice messaging from the local phone company, is there a way to make the message light light when a message is left in voicemail. I don't care if all the mlx10d message lights light, in fact, that is what I would prefer if this is at all possible.
