Message Waiting.....light on...light off

Okay whiz kids, new problem. Release 7.0 with Partner Messaging. Message waiting light comes on when a new message is left, won't shut off. Use Feature 10 with the extension number and it goes out. Leave a new message and the light comes back on....get the idea??? Have swapped phones...still a problem same extension, blow up the mailbox and re-created it...still a problem.

What would be the general consensus...308 card or Messaging???

It only happens on that extension...I am thinking Messaging.
Let me know your thoughts!!!

is their another mailbox , group , general that has that extension as the owner ?

Check for messages in mailbox 9991, 9992, 9993, and 9994

Do what TTT suggests and change your "zero time out action" in your auto attendant (Day and Night)to transfer to your operator or someone else with a phone or even disconnect. The default setting for the night greeting is transfer to general mailbox.

As usual you all are helpful. I didn't know the vendor changed to a second auto attendant, and then back to a single auto attendant. Will have him check the 9992 mailbox! Once again thanks for the good responses.
