I have a Legend 6.1 V11. Site put 6 trunks via channel bank, into the switch. As soon as the lines were added, ALL MWI's turned on. Told them how to clear that, and that was the last time the lights have come on. Installed 012 card to test TTR's. The 007MLM had none that worked. Replaced card, still no MWI. Checked TTR's and got 2 tone bursts.

Shouldnt I have gotten a 3 burst tone? Tested them multiple times, same thing.

Tried to reset MWI's in maint (MW...update) Did nothing.

Could the channel bank lines do this? Still get no notification from vmail of messages.

Tone Bursts - - As a matter of fact, Bell Labs told me that 2 or 3 are OK, but NO TONE BURSTS is BAD.

So, sounds like your TTR's are OK, but is the new 007 set up?

When you added these lines, did you change any cards?

OK, I fixed it last night. If i took the 9 trunks out of the system and did an MWL Update, some trunk lines would ring in the system (which were disconnected). You could see port 4 going in use trying to signal the processor that there were messages, but the precessor wasnt "answering" that call. I had an 016 in the next slot, so I swapped slots and that cured the problem.

Bad slot? I could call each ext of the vmail and get in. Maybe just outbound on port 4 was bad so it couldnt get the signal to the processor. I dont know, but it is fixed.
