Message waiting light not working after making phone SPV

After I added CLS SPV and OBV to a phone the message waiting light no longer works. We have Merdian mail. I MM setup to give MWI indications to 0210 (Key 3) and 668 (key 0). No changes were in Mail. Any ideas why that change would stop the light from working?

So far today I have tried to remove OBV and SPV. That did not work. I have added XMWK to the phone. It gives me an indicator on the button but the light at the top just flashes once and is gone. I have also replaced the phone.

By default, you can light the lamp on a phone if the DN appears as KEY 00 or appears only on that TN. I suspect the DN you are trying to alert appears on more than one phone now.

Use an XMWK Key. Search the forum for "XMWK"

The DN for 0210 (the DN used in VM) has always appeared on multiple sets. Until yesterday the lamp worked just fine.

I did try adding XMWK to the phone and that seems to be working now. But it worked before without XMWK. In Meridian mail on the VM box for 0210 I set the Message Waiting Indication DNs to 0210 and 668 (which is key 0) so it should have sent the lamp to the phone anyway.

Could it be this: 668 is not KEY 00 on a phone any more. ACD is KEY 00, and 668 is the Position ID, not a DN.

Also, you replaced the NRD key? Are you sure you do not need Not Ready?

This phone is not really used as an ACD phone. It is the phone I have at my position and only use it to test ACD functions from time to time. so NRD is not really needed on a day to day basis. I could always throw it back on if needed.

So putting 668 in the MM did not effect the lamp? So why did it work before?

Was Mail previously set to light 1210 for mailbox 0210?... which may not appear on any other TNs?
