Message Waiting Light Issues - PVM R3L

Customer has a sporadic problem with the m/w light not going on and off - they believe it is only at one extension but that is not certain - it is a large PVM card that is heavily used - both by 8-10 users and as the auto attendant for 4 lines - my thought is it is just too busy but wanted to get some other input.

I have had the same problem. I agree with you as I traced it to heavy use. My client sometimes waited up to 1/2 Hr or more for the MWL to change state. I proved it by programming the port extensions on a phone & watched it during high use periods.
Another symptom was callers xfering to an extension and then ringing back to the VM, but no answer. The client was a lawyers office. After proving they needed the Mail VS 4 port, they decided to live with the problem. Go figure.
