I know this has been addressed in other threads, but there has not been a resolution.

I have several phones which have a message waiting light each morning. If I disable the nightly resource recovery the lights do not show up in the morning, but then the 3300 will crash every few weeks. The lights will also come back after a reboot. Some of the phones have never had a voice mail box associated with them, so do have vm. When doing a loc feat ext #### it shows a callback set. I have disabled all callback functions in COS, set the superset callback timer to 1 hour in system options, last 2 voice mail ports are not used for RADS, restored database and all other suggestions to no avail.

Are there any other things I can try?

First, your 3300 should not crash every few weeks. That is issue number one.

How many phones do you have?

I also have same problem. As a short term fix you can delete this extension completely, synchronize 3300's and redo the extension. It looks like for some reason voicemail number leaving call back option on some of the extensions. As a long term solution I am waiting for a NuPoint :)

Do you have any phones with softkey line appearances of numbers which do not appear as prime on any other phone but which themselves have vmail assigned to the extn?

Look at the Multiline Set Group assignment form for key line appearances in question. If they only appear on one set (and are not the prime appearance) then the scenario is set to occur

If they are not prime on any set but there are multiple appearances across several sets, then whatever set they first appear on in the MU S G form may experience the anomaly

Good suggestion MIMB and to add to that, If there is a hunt group that has key system lines as members that appear on 1 or more sets and the Hunt group has an associated MB (Pause for breath) then the message indicator will be set against either the first set programmed with the key system line or the lowest extension with an appearance. (After an upgrade it will definitely be the lowest extension)
