So I have just setup a reclaimed option 11 at a new site. Because of this site I have been able to remove a old out of service pri on my 61 and repurpose it and establish communications to my new option 11 everything is working great but I can't get the dang message light to work. On the 61 whenever I leave a message for the dn on the 11 I see a:

PRI254 DCH: 27 DATA: 0 4

I have copied the dch configs for both sides as well as the rdb below. Thanks

Thanks Again!

We always Use "25" for the RLS ID on the dchannel. Also we use standard signal arrangement. RDB "SIGO = STD".

Try turning on dch messaging and see if you are sending nms.

SIGO should be ESN5 as you have it. Try putting in the actual RLS of the PBX in the d-channel instead of leaving it blank.

PRI0254 Database Error: The DCH is interfacing with a software issue not supported by
the application. Output data: DCH: x DATA: y z . Where:
x = D-channelnumber y = Release ID
z = Service identifier
Action: Verify that the release ID in the configuration record is the same as the
software release running on the far end switch.
If available, turn on the Alarm Filtering Package (#243) or Upgrade all the ISDN
MCDN switches to the same software Release.
Severity: Critical. Critical to Monitor: Yes. SNMP trap: Yes

Where do I get the RLS info? Is is just looking to be 4 based on the iss prt below:

Option 11:
CALL SERVER/MAIN CAB
VERSION 2121
RELEASE 4
ISSUE 50 W +
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY NORTEL

Option 61:
VERSION 2521
RELEASE 4
ISSUE 00 T +
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY NORTEL

If memory serves me correctly release 4 would actually be RLS 27 on your d-channel. But I believe 25 would work just fine.

It looks like that may have done it. I won't know for sure until I drive downtown tonight but I am not getting the PRI254 error and I see the last message on both switches is:

DCH 27 IMSG FACILITY REF 00000000 CH 0 TOD 16:49:40
FEAT :NMS

Thanks So much for all the pointers!!
