Message waiting lamp for multiline

I have just had a company come in and set up a 3300 (v5) in the office. The sales team have a couple of 5312, it is set up (I think) as a multiline group so when a sales call comes in both phones ring. Voicemail goes to a VM box seperate to those of the two handsets so they have to dial 7000 followed by *<multiline><passcode>

I have programmed one of the programmable keys to be a MWI for the group VM box

I can short cut the connection to the mail box by two speed call keys - I would however like to just use the Messge hardkey both have that flashing and one touch vM box connection... is it possible or am I stuck with this rather clumsy set up ?

When the light is flashing and it is pressed it will take you to the Assoc Mailbox.

It will not log you in if it is not flashing.

Magic - is there any way to avoid the password prompt ?

There is only 1 type of mailbox on the 3300 that does not require a passcode, Guest Mailbox.

I don't think you can have Guest MB's without enabling Hotel Options.

The Cure would be worse than the Disease.
