We're beginning to roll out cisco IP phones to our users and I have notice an issue with a few phones we have set up.
We have Cisco Communications Manager 6.0 with Cisco Unity Connection 4.0 running on SCCP protocol. We also are using Cisco 7941 GE and 7961 GE phones.
We have set up about 80 phones so far with little problems. I have two phones that the message indicator light will not go off. Actually if you send a test message and clear it the light will go off. But the next morning the light is back on and there are no new messages. The other phone has a similar problem but is more random and not every morning.
I have tried removing and re-adding the voicemail box. The set up for these phones are the same as all the other phones.
Forgive if I'm not specific enough as we are learning this system as it's being implemented.
