Hi all,

Any body knows how to activate message waiting lamp on analogue telephone for MD110.

Thanks a lot

Which version BC You have and how this analog extension is initiated (EL6?) board ELU 29?

I never use I practice MEW lamp on analog phone.
But if I remember from curse and what I find in Alex.

ICAT=D1D2D3D4 for analog extension
D3= 0 Message waiting lamp with voltage ramp.
=2 Extension does not have message waiting lamp.
=4 Message waiting lamp with polarity reversal. ( if this option is selected, D2 must be 0)

Use function ICFUP to check Information computer function status.
MESSAGE WAITING FUNCIONALITY IS… must be ALL
If is not ALL but PARTIAL or NONE
ICFUC:MWF=ALL;

If You have analog extension initiated on ELU30 you must set correct ASParameter 190;

You have to use ELU30 board (12 timeslots) for this function. Then you have to know which type of indication
(polarity reversal, voltage ramp...) the phone "understands". Note that even if you have a phone with a lamp, it is not always working with MD. The cheapest way to solve this is to buy digital phones without display.

I have BC11 with ELU11 cards.ICAT=0000.On setting D3 on ICAT to 4 since the indication on the phone is polarity reversal.The light does not come up.So does this work only for ELU30?

We hane it working in our office but we are using ELU28 with DBC199 pot,

Experience it, there is no substitute.
