message waiting indication on analog phones 1

I am not getting any message waiting lamp indication on any analog phones connected to the ICP3300 when voice mail messages are left.It has never worked since the system has been installed.
The IP phones message waiting indicationis working ok.

If you're talking about the 90v MWI lamps built-in to some analog sets, you will need to build a separate ONS/OPS circuit descriptor for those instruments and assign it to them in the single line set assignment form.

The form is the ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptor Assignment. Build a new one. Set the value for "Message Waiting Lamp" to yes.

important: Make a separate circuit descriptor for these specific phones with MWI lamps... do not combine regular ONS stations in the same circuit descriptor as those with MWI lamps. Why not? Bell tap!
