Message Retrival Button

Good day All,

I had found this little trick, out on this forum before, but can't seem to find it now. I have tried to search, but it appears the search engine is down. So here goes.

I'm trying to help another tech, at one of our sites, to add the message retrival button to her phone. It works if I call from my cell to her desk, the cell number will display.

But if I call, from my MCI trucks, to her MCI trunks, it will not show the number. But, when she calls me, from her desk and MCI trunks, and I don't answer, it shows that her number called me.

We can't seem to find the different, in our PBX's. So I need help.

it might be something simple like you're MCI trunks are not setup to send ANI, or you haven't changed the public unknown numbering format.

Are you certain that you're all setup to send ANI to outside destinations?

I would check the public unknown numbering if its a matter of your trunks not displaying. Change this with command

change isdn pub
