Hello,
I have Backup Exec 8.6 with Windows NT4 Server.
After the Backup job the tape should go out.
All function are OK, but I get a message "Please take that tape from the drive". The task is not finished.
What can I do?
Frank

Did you select "eject media after job completes", that would cause BE to eject the tape when the job is done if that is whats hapening, or you could have a tape that belongs to a media set other then the one the job is using, or the tape could be full, or the job could be set to overwrite and not append. Can you provide more details?

Hello,
I have select "eject media after job completes".
The tape is not full.
All files are write to the tape.
The tape is out.
Only the message is there "take the tape..."
When I quit this message the job is be done (100%).

a lot of thanks.
It is the correct topic, but it was not the solution.
I changed the Registry.
Is it with the German version different?

Sorry, but I've never dealt with the German version. That might need to be a phone consultation with Veritas.
