Message on incoming calls - BCM50/CallPilot

Can anyone advise if the following is possible and if so, is it easy to set up.

We have a BCM50 with Callpilot. We would like, when callers ring our main number, for the auto attendant (or other) to answer, play a short message, and then continue to ring as per normal.

Our main number just goes through to a hunt group which is spread over a number of extensions.

We do not have any cal centre features installed on the system as we are a small company.

what you are asking for is a feature associated with a automatic call director or a uniform call director. but here is an option that you might want to try: set up an ATA to be answered by a Viking DVA-500A o(or equivelant) let the DVA make the announcement and then transfer to a hunt group that has all the stations that need to hear the ring as members.

I have never this up but if you check with viking they might have actually tried this on their bench.
