Message On Hold

Right now we have MUSIC on hold but we are considering putting a MESSAGE on hold. How does one accomplish this on a KX-TD1232? Currently we have one music source for both music on hold and as background music in the paging system.

I got the idea from AbleComm (

but couldn't find out HOW to do it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

just substitue the message source for what you are using to provide MOH

there are a lot available

I lot of the customers buy the recordable model but are happy enough with the generic message that they never record their own.

Also, with the KXTD1232, you have two music inputs. This allows you to have 'canned' messages on hold, and yet still have music over your BGM. You simply program which channel (M1, M2) feeds which feature (MOH, BGM)
