I recently installed a PRI upgrade on a MICS 5.0. I used to have a T-1. Now when someone leaves a message in a mailbox from an outside line it works fine but when it is an internal message it is unable to call out to the users cellphone. I've tried to leave a message using feature 980 and calling the extension internally and letting it goto voicemail. Neither works. When I changed the system to PRI I went into each mailbox and changed the dial out number to include a "9" in front of it. Which follows the routing programming. Originally with the T-1 the channels were in pool A which you could setup the mailboxes to access pool A by programming Pool 1. How do you program the mailboxes to access PRI-A pool. Or by programming it the way I did the way to go.

Thank you for your reply.

You would have to trick the system into believing that there is a line pool A (Pool1). Build a route to line pool A, set the dial out as 9 and the system will figure out that it needs to go to Pool PRI A.

For your Outdial in your mailbox select a Line Pool that you are not using and for the phone number put in
Desti code + number. You do not need an Access code for the pool itself.

Agree with Hawks. sending the call to an invalid pool causes destination codes to become involved.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

To fix the reply feature in regards to centrex trunks and PRI when the 9 is required:
You only need to specify a dial out prefix in the dialing translation table.
In call pilot this is found easily enough in the web managment screens.
In NVM press f983 login and press 88.
Look for dial out prefix and enter 9.

Please specify if NVM or CallPilot?
NVM requires dummy line number for PRI access.
For OPN you specify a dummy line.
NVM does not allow route selection use any arbitrary outside line in outdial selection.
