I set up message notification on MB to go to a Cell phone.
When I leave a message it does not call my cell. If I change it to extension it works fine. I checked to make sure the VoiceMail ports are in a COR that is unrestricted and they are. I have the ports in a separate COS, so I checked that also and don't see anything relating to this problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Make sure the COS of the voicemail ports have:

Public Trunk access via DPNSS
Non-Verified Account Code

At the risk of stating the obvious, make sure the number you have set for outcall notification (the cell #) includes whatever leading digits (i.e., 9) are required to make the call.

Yes Mitelinmyblood I have a 9 in front of the number.
When I get back to the office I will check KWBMitel's suggestion.

Also, The COS for the VM ports should have an account code length that matches the digit length of the port extensions.

The VM ports use Non-Verified account codes on all outbound calls and enter the extension number of the port making the call.

KWBMitel, you stated that I must enter the extension number of the port making the call. Where do I enter the port # and can I use the Hunt Group Pilot #? Is there somewhere in the manual that states all this?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I understand now. I must enter an account code that matches the VM port-Correct?

NO, you do not need to dial the account code, the system does that automatically. The system needs to be able to do it via the COS options.

COS Options:
Non-Verified - Enabled
Public Trunk Access - Enabled
Account code length = port extension length.

It looks like you've covered everything else.

I tried all of that and nothing worked, so I went back into the mailbox and reset up the message notification options and it worked. Just for the hell of it I started removing all the programming I just did one by one and I soon as I removed the Public Trunk access it stopped working. I added that back and it started working again.

At least it works, never question getting what you want.
