Message manager fax print driver on windows XP

has anyone setup message mgr on a pc with XP? the app. works fine, but the fax print driver did not install. have tried removing it and re-installing, but still no luck. happens on 2 differnt pcs. any ideas?

What version of Message Manager do you have? I think that you need version 5.1 for Windows XP fax driver.

Are you installing as an admin? If not, you may not have rights to the driver folders.

Susan is correct, you need the 5.0 or 5.1 for XP. If you have 5.0 there is a patch you can download from the avaya website to upgrade it to 5.1

i have version 4.6. is there not a download on avaya's website to go from it to 5.0?

to answer my own question, there is not an upgrade from 4.6 to 5.0 on the website. avaya states it had to be rebuilt to accomodate win xp, therefore they require you to purchase it again.

I have Message Manager R4.5.2 used with an Intuity R5 and fax/printing all works fine on XP Pro.

i can fax and print from message mgr on xp, but the actual fax print driver does not install. i can't have a word doc open and go to print and choose the fax driver to send it out that way.
