Message light stays lit. 2

I am working with a Repartee voicemail system. i reset the voicemail system but the message lights on some of the MLX phones don't go out when there is no messages.

Well,you can try going to these phones (or doing this at some other phone) and get intercom dial tone and then dialing #*53 EXTENSION NUMBER you want to TURN OFF LIGHT FOR.

Once you do that, and it turns them off, and then you find that the REPARTEE still does not turn them off, then you are gonna' have to see what the REPARTEE thinks is the MESG LIGHT TURN OFF CODE.

Not to mention, even though I have worked on a couple of these, I AM NOT AN EXPERT and would have no idea as to where in their menus you find that code.

Only the port that turned the light on can turn it off. So if you have more than 1 port in the voicemail turning on lights, or have changed the port that does that you will be stuck with lights on. If you are at an MLX phone you can touch the "menu" button then look for "messages" touch that it will show you the massage & you can delete it.
I'm not right in frount of a phone so I might be off a little, but that should get it.
