message light on partner phone will not reset

I have a partner 18 button display phone that will not reset the voice mail message light.

If extension 10 check general mailbox (9991) then check your zero/timeout action in your auto attendant. (assuming
you have a Partner Messaging voice mail).

turn it off manually feature 10 then the ext number

if a single line set, from intercom dialtone dial #10 then the extension of the set.

swap the phone out with another phone, see if it is the phone.

reboot,

next,
delete new messages in MB, the leave one in the box again. Then delete message.

next,
delete MB, recreate MB, leave message.

Check for light after each next item above.

If that does not work, get a piece of black electrical tape. Cut it to fit just over the light, then place tape over the light, lol. Just kidding.
