With Magix r2.2 w merlin mail r3 and MLX10D Phones. I am a bit new with the magix and I picked up this system to learn on. I have it to the point where I can get into voicemail, setup mailboxes can leave and retrieve messages, but the message light does not come on I also tried a different port and phone with no luck. Do I need to do any renumbering? There are two cabinets but I only fired up the first, as the second had only a T1 module in it which I wont be testing with. Also, the fourth LED (Port) on voice mail card (the integrated one) is red on the 2nd lower led. I did not program in this port into the 770 group since it seemed bad.. maybe even more is bad with the vm card? Should I pull the 2 port expansion module that has the trouble red light?

Message light does not come on - Magix 2.2 and Mail r3

Poster here... I reset the VM card and rebooted the whole system. Looks like the message lights are working now and the port 4 is regular green now. It took a while to stabilize and things to get functioning more normally. Maybe it self healed.
