Hi,

We have recently added Nupoint and moved away from the embedded VM. Previously on the 5312 phone the message waiting lamp acted as a notification and also a speed dial to VM. Now with nupont, we still get the message notification but pressing does not go to the nupoint. is there a way to program this?

Thanks

Assuming 3300.
Usually the MWI is set by a HCI Reroute Hunt Group. (e.g. 6050) You would have this setup in Call routing to always reroute to the Voicemail Pilot Number (e.g. 6000)
That way when pressing the message button (off hook) it will call 6050 which is rerouted to 6000 which is the voicemail system.

Are you lifting the handset before pressing the key?
