Now the question is, do you have a backup/restore card installed that is not being recognized, and WHY every morning the display comes up? If there is no card, it should only show on the 1st of the month, when the system does an automatic backup.

no i dont have a backup card installed in the system and it comes up every morning I know how to clear it but i want to beable to get rid of it all together is that possible? or are those the instructions you have provided already?

Yes, the directions I gave you were to set the Automatic Backup to OFF - If you have an R1 through R6, set it to 1 - Not Assigned. If you have an R7, set it to 3, Auto Backup Internal.

Now why is it coming up every morning??

If you have Automatic Backup to the card set to ON, it will happen on the 1st of the month at 2am. So you should only see it once a month.

I think you are having a power problem, and you have an R7 revision O or N. The power is cycling long enough that the system reboots, clears the clock and calendar back to Jan 1, 12 midnight, and reloads the translations from the internal memory (because it is not finding an external card). At 2am, it thinks it is the 1st of the month, and the reloaded configuration tells it to do an automatic backup to the missing card.

Set it to backup to the Internal Memory, then do a manual backup to the internal memory.

Now the internal configuration that is getting reloaded tells it to do its monthly backup to the internal memory.

the auto backup is also performed after a power outage and that is probably how he clears the alarms with a reboot and so same problem again that night when it tries to backup to the card.

do as TTT said and set it to internal then you won't have any more problems as long as the processor doesn't blow up completely
