Hi,

Is it possible to light up the message wating indicator for multiple mailboxes, assumiming the DN has an assigned mailbox?

eg: Ext 210, has mailbox 210 assigned, but also want to light up if another mailbox has messages.

More specifically, I have a hunt group that overflows to a guest mailbox. I want members in the hunt group (who have their own mailboxes) to get notified if there is a message in the hunt group mailbox. If you can suggest a better solution then please feel free.

Thanks.

It's not possible to have 2 mailboxes give MWI to 1 DN, but there is an alternative of some sort:

Enable the guest mailbox to perform message notification to the other extension. Upon a new message call pilot will call the extension and inform the person that they have a new message. The user can then login at that time and hear the new message.

If the user doesn't answer the calls they will likely have a message in their main mailbox with the call pilot repeating the announcement. I've found some users get very confused by this and don't realize the recording is not interactive from the main mailbox.

Hope that didn't sound too confusing.
