Hi everybody!!!
My mind is wondering if it is possible to enter formulas in excel as long as we desire. Is there any way for avoiding the message "Formula too long"?
Any macro for achieving this purpose, perhaps?

Thank you for tryin'

You may perhaps use some helper cells to store intermediate values ?

You may also consider writing an UDF (User Defined Function)

I have no answer to your question. (don't know if there is a limit). Just a whiney opinion:

I have seen spreadsheets with mammoth formula's that take up 4 or 5 lines in the formula editing bar (F2). Good luck to the person that has to interpret or troubleshoot them. It makes more sense to me to spread the formula (as stated) or prepare a vba UDF (as stated), so that the logic of the formula is more understandable.

Hi Engineer32,

You can also shorten many formulae by using named ranges and expressions.

Plus, if your formulae refer to external workbooks, having those workbooks open while editing the formulae considerably shortens the formulae by removing all the path info.

Cheers
