Howdy:
It really doesn't matter what processor was released AFTER, it totally depends on what your mobo can use...
Slot 1: Pentium II/III up to 600Mhz or Celeron up to 500Mhz
That's it and it doesn't/won't get any better.. If you want better, you will need to buy a new mobo !!!
