Is it possible using Outlook 2000 to set individual user sending limits, receiving limits using exchange. And also at the same time set an organisational one.

I want all the users to have the organisational user limits, but the IT staff to have there own individual ones.

Is this possible or does the organisational limit count for everyone

No the exchange administrator can set individual limits per mailbox.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

What version of exchange are you running? Are you the exchange administrator?

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

We are using Outlook 2000 on the desktop and Microsoft Active Directory 1.2, Version 5

If you are not the exchange administrator then you can not alter the storage limits for your mailboxes.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

I am the administrator and can change the limits i was just wondering if it was possible to override the organisational limit set in active directory with a personal one, i want to be able to receive the e-mail attachements that everyone cannot so that i can put them on a network drive, thats all
